Chef Manager

My client is looking for a talented Chef Manager to lead the team at one of their  Independent Day Schools in Golders Green.

My client provides a lunch service to 650 pupils plus teachers on a daily basis. There is a small amount of hospitality to cater for. You will be managing a Sous Chef and 10 other members of staff.

You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) term time only. The salary on offer is £32,000 per annum – 40 hours per week.

You will need to come from a total fresh food background and be able to demonstrate your passion for fresh, quality seasonal produce. You will have excellent knowledge of modern food trends.

Experience required: 

  • At least 1 year of Chef Manager experience within either B&I (contract catering) or education (contract catering)
  • Consideration will be given to a passionate head chef, you would need at least 2 years of head chef experience within either B&I (contract catering) or education (contract catering)

Salary & Benefits:
