Chef Manager

£34,000.00 per annum


My client is looking for a talented Chef Manager to lead the team at one of their Independent Day Schools near Winchester.

My client provides a lunch service to 220 pupils plus teachers on a daily basis. My client also caterers for match teas and hospitality.

During the holidays my client provides a catering provision to a summer school.

You will be managing a team of 5 who are experienced and very well organised.

You will be working Monday to Friday (5 Saturdays per year will be needed for open mornings). The salary on offer is £32,000 to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience and what you can bring to my clients operation)

You will need to come from a total fresh food background and be able to demonstrate your passion for fresh, quality seasonal produce. You will have excellent knowledge of modern food trends.

Experience required: 

  • At least 1 year of Chef Manager experience within either B&I (contract catering) or education (contract catering)
  • Consideration will be given to a passionate head chef, you would need at least 2 years of head chef experience within either B&I (contract catering) or education (contract catering)

Salary & Benefits:
