Executive Chef Manager

£32,500.00 per annum


My client is looking for an Executive Chef Manager to lead the team at a prestigious Secondary School in East London.

Are you currently a Chef Manager working in either a large secondary school, academy school, independent school or B&I location?

You will need to come from a total fresh food background and be able to demonstrate your passion for fresh, quality seasonal produce. You will have excellent commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate this along with your knowledge of modern food trends.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £32,500 per annum
  • Hours of work 7.00am to 3.30pm – Monday to Friday
  • Term time only (working 40 weeks of the year)
  • No weekend working
  • Meals on duty, uniform provided

Job Requirements & Key Skills:

  • Ensuring that service level agreements are achieved & customer and client expectations are met.
  • Ensuring that catering premises and equipment are maintained, clean and hygienic and that safe systems of work are in place
  • Managing, motivating and developing the team
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
  • Ensure that financial margins are being met and client budget being achieved through good management of the account
  • A real foodie, someone who will stand out for there passion
  • Fresh, seasonal food background with an understanding of modern food trends
  • A strong team player as well as someone who leads from the front
  • Experience of managing and developing a large team
  • Experience of Microsoft packages (word, excel, outlook)
  • Strong craft skills
  • Excellent communication skills
