F&B Director Required – London, West End

My client has a unique opportunity for an experienced F&B Director to join them at one of there prestigious establishments based in the West End of London.

As my clients F&B Director, you will be able to provide clear evidence of stable progression throughout your career.  You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working at senior management level within hotels or similar (Operation Managers would be considered from various sectors)

The successful candidate will oversee the busy day to day catering operation providing breakfast, lunch, dinner & events. You will hold regular meetings with your team to ensure KPI’s are being achieved and standards are being maintained and improved upon.

You will need to demonstrate change management and how you have implemented successful changes within your workplace.

You will need to be commercially minded, have a critical eye for detail, phenomenal people skills and a real love for fresh seasonal produce.

Salary & Benefits

  • £55,000 to £65,000 per annum
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)

Responsibilities and Key Points

  • At least three years in a Senior Management role within hotels or similar (Operation Managers from various sectors will be considered)
  • Experience of managing a turnover in excess of 2 million per annum
  • A high integrity and personal standards with the drive and determination to succeed
  • A strong, proactive team player approach with a track record of developing teams
  • An ability to innovate and delegate
  • Commercial and strategic acumen
  • The ability to be able identify new opportunities and develop strategies
  • To ensure budgets are achieved and exceeded wherever possible
  • Extensive experience in a multi-disciplined service environment
  • A love for fresh food and quality service
  • To be able to communicate at all levels efficiently
  • Ensuring food quality & standards of service are to company standards
  • To ensure all agreed KPI’s are achieved
  • All HSE & Food Safety meets company standards and UK legislation
  • Completing audits, compiling action plans and reports
  • To build strong and productive relationships
  • Ensuring completion of appraisals, investigations, coaching and all HR procedures providing support as required
  • Carry out all recruitment process interviews, inductions and team training as required
  • Carry out regular head of department meetings
  • Be able to demonstrate successful change management
