My client has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef, who has excellent culinary and hospitality skills and believes in making the dining experience the very best every day and fun, to work within one of their prestigious independent schools in Sydenham.

CHEF – Bromley

£25,000 pa

40 hours a week, term time only

My client has an exciting opportunity at one of there school sites in Bromley for a chef to join the team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the best possible lunch experience. You will be cooking for teachers and support staff. You will be working with a team of staff and you will report to the Executive Chef Manager.

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook
  • Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital
  • Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment
  • Good communication and IT skills
  • Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach
  • Proven track record of continually improving standards and achieving targets is essential

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
