Senior Sous Chef

£37,000.00 per annum


My client is looking for a dynamic Senior Sous Chef to join the brigade at a prestigious private members club in Knightsbridge, London.

The services my client provides are:

  • Breakfast – Monday to Sunday -approx 6.30am to 8.30am
  • Lunch – Monday to Friday – approx 12.00pm to 2.00pm
  • Dinner – Monday to Thursday – approx 7.00pm to 9.30pm
  • Hospitality & Events – Monday to Sunday  – approx 8.00am until late

Breakfast service is traditional & continental, lunch and dinner is Ala Carte & TDH fine dining.

My clients ideal candidate will come from a 5* hotel or rosette standard hotel.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £37,000 per annum
  • 48 hour contracted working week
  • Working 5 days out of 7 days

Job Requirements & Key Skills:

  • Ensuring that service level agreements are achieved & customer and client expectations are met
  • Ensuring that catering premises and equipment are maintained, clean and hygienic and that safe systems of work are in place
  • Managing, motivating and developing the team
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
  • Ensure that financial margins are being met and client budget being achieved through good management of the account
  • Ensuring the company food standards are maintained and improved upon
  • Supporting in managing, motivating and developing a team
  • Be a creative chef and able to cook everything from scratch to at least 1 rosette standard
  • Experience of writing creative menu’s and up to date with current food trends
