Sous Chef

£22,000.00 per annum


My client is looking for a creative Sous Chef to support the Chef Manager at this fabulous B&I Location in Beckton.

You will need to come from a total fresh food background and be able to demonstrate your passion for fresh, quality seasonal produce.

This position would suit a Chef De Partie looking for progression to Sous Chef or a Sous Chef looking to work Monday to Friday.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £22,000 per annum
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • 40 Hour Working Week
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Job Requirements & Key Skills:

  • Ensuring that service level agreements are achieved & customer and client expectations are met.
  • Ensuring that catering premises and equipment are maintained, clean and hygienic and that safe systems of work are in place
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
  • Fresh, seasonal food background
  • A strong team player as well as someone who can work well alone
  • Strong craft skills
  • Excellent communication skills
